With a solid profile Harvest Investment Company Ltd. was established in May, 2008 as per Sudan Company Ordinance in 1925 to be engaged in all type of Agricultural and other business activities.

Perform agricultural services, consultation, technical support and put hands in contributing directly and indirectly to Sudan seed and agricultural production markets with high quality assurance

To make full use of available resources to maximize the generated revenue and accordingly maximize the investment return of capital.
To assure self reliance in production of hybrids for all important crops.
To contribute and participate in developing agriculture know-how in Sudan and between Sudanese people.
To develop and promote local agricultural products such as sunflower, guar, maize, and sorghum.
To secure the continuous support of the government and its entities for plantation of the sunflower crop and other crops.
To liaise with financial institutions to avail the required funds to support the operations, as per approved plans.
To develop and introduce modern technologies for crushing the oil seeds (solvent extraction).
To innovatively market products, both locally and internationally.
The company adopted the provision of wheat seeds and other crops as a strategic and continuous stock of wheat seeds so as to mitigate the fluctuations of the availability of high-quality wheat seeds to the Sudanese farmer.
Finance Sources & Types
The finance for this company was offered by Shareholders and by organizing the relationship with Generous Agro Bank and shareholders in the shape of Salam and Murabaha on short and medium terms of repayment.
Risk exposure
As plantation activities are highly exposed to risk, the company is considering the newly adopted Agro insurance policy system to minimize the risks to the lowest level possible
